Kevin Spacey charged with five sexual offences against three men between 2005 and 2013

The world-famous actor Kevin Spacey has been charged with five sexual offences against three men - four of which allegedly occurred in London.
The 62-year-old was charged after the Met Police reviewed evidence following a series of complaints dating between 2005 and 2013.

Three complaints relate to sexual assault which is alleged to have taken place in London, and one in Gloucestershire.
The former Old Vic artistic director was also charged with causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent.
The charges are as follows:
- Sexual assault on a man, now in his 40s, in March 2005 in London.
- Sexual assault on the same victim in March 2005 in London.
- Sexual assault on another man, now in his 30s, in August 2008 in London.
- Causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent on the same victim in August 2008 in London.
- Sexual assault on another man, now in his 30s, in April 2013, in Gloucestershire.
Rosemary Ainslie, the head of the CPS special crime division, said: “The CPS has authorised criminal charges against Kevin Spacey, 62, for four counts of sexual assault against three men.
“He has also been charged with causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent.

Hide Ad“The charges follow a review of the evidence gathered by the Metropolitan police in its investigation.
“The Crown Prosecution Service reminds all concerned that criminal proceedings against Mr Spacey are active and that he has the right to a fair trial.”
