A recently renovated restaurant in the heart of Camden is on the market for just £1 for a 14-year lease, as advertised by Rightmove.

The current rent on the 10 Jamestown Road property is £120,000 per annum, but it received a makeover as recently as 2021 when it was reopened as Camden Social.

Having previously been a Byron Burger, the property would suit various forms of retail and comes equipped with a large, open plan kitchen and booths along one wall.

Seating around 90 customers in its previous iteration, the lease includes a licence for alcohol and recorded music, which the Camden location is famed for.

The current operating hours begin at 10am each day, with operations able to open until midnight, Monday to Thursday. On Friday and Saturday it will be possible to remain open to 12.30am, with the restaurant having to shut at 11pm on Sundays.

The building is set over two floors. The ground floor contains the main service area and kitchen, and the first floor consists of toilets, storage and a kitchen prep facility.

Fronted by large glass windows, the 143 square metre commercial rental allows for lots of natural light to flood in as well as a good view of the passing footfall.

The rent on the lease is due to increase to £140,000 from April of this year, with further increases potentially coming down the line from rental reviews held every five years.
