Research shows one of the most stressful parts of Christmas is cooking the traditional Christmas Day dinner. Luckily, other studies suggest Londoners, compared to their Bristol counterparts, do have a better grasp of  the tenets of how to make a Christmas meal.

But for some households with a bit of money to spare this Christmas, is the ordeal of going to the supermarket, working out many mouths different sized turkeys can feed and then dealing with the Christmas Day-cum-Boxing Day washing up worth it? Londonworld hear a couple of voices in the wilderness saying “no, it’s not.”

Thankfully, there are still some restaurants in London that are taking last minute Christmas Day bookings ahead of the big day next weekend. Be it visiting an establishment that is offering a traditional Christmas menu, or partaking in some world cuisine as part of some early New Year’s Resolution, thankfully there are a raft of eateries still there to cater for your Christmas day meal.

So if the thought of day-old cold brussel sprouts and sinewy pieces of leftover gammon for dinner over the nights after Christmas are not the way you imagined a Covid-19 restriction free Christmas, we don’t blame you!

Londonworld has taken a look at the restaurants in the London area still accepting bookings ahead of Christmas Day. The information taken from Opentable, is correct at the time of publication, however given the nature of restaurant bookings and the speed in which they are booked, we cannot guarantee these restaurants won’t be fully booked before you secure your seats.
