Manchester United’s season and Michael Carrick’s managerial career is in the balance

Michael Carrick’s tenure as Manchester United is hanging by a string that could break at any moment. It means that the next Champions League game against AS Roma at Old Trafford will be packed with drama.

Every shot, every pass and every save carry with them a very real impact on the coach’s survival and could ultimately seal his fate, so fine are the margins of success and failure.

Let’s not forget that Alex Ferguson himself reputedly came within a whisker of being sacked back in 1990 when a win against Nottingham Forest in the third round of the FA Cup saved his bacon.

The Roma game could be Carrick’s make-or-break moment and fans can still get tickets for a match that could prove a historic turning point… or possibly Carrick’s last stand and departure.

Last-minute hospitality tickets are still available for the match that kicks off at 8pm on Tuesday, November 3, via venue partner Seat Unique here.

They are priced from £199 for the Victoria Warehouse package, which includes access to Victoria Warehouse three hours before the game and for one hour after the final whistle.

There is also complimentary food and drink at the Victoria Warehouse.

This venue is 300m away from Old Trafford so there’s the chance to walk to the ground with thousands of other fans excited for a match high on drama. There is also a £9.95 booking fee to be aware of which takes the price up to £208.95.

Evolution and Champions Club Lounges packages are priced at £345 and £395, respectively. These both included padded seats and a three-course meal, the extra cost of the Champions Club Lounge gets fans excellent seats near the half-way line.

To buy general tickets for the Roma game via Manchester United, fans need to have an account on the club’s ticketing system. That said, it appears that hospitality tickets can be purchased on the Manchester United website from £135 for a padded seat in the NW Quadrant here.

Alternatively, the match will be shown live on Amazon Prime Video for which you can sign up here.
