Numerous high-profile celebrities have hosted the award show including Jonathan Ross, Emma Willis, Nick Grimshaw, Ant & Dec and more. After taking the helm at last year’s ceremony, Gilligan proved to be suited to the occasion.

He said: “Hosting the BRITs last year was one of the most phenomenal moments of my life.I’ve been so honoured to get to know the incredible team behind the biggest night in music and so proud to bring our amazing audiences even closer to their favourite artists.

“I promise you, we’re going to go even bigger this year… Let’s go!”

In association with Mastercard, the BRIT Awards will be announcing their star studded list of nominations on Thursday (January 12) at 4pm. R&B girl group FLO have already been announced as winners of the BRITs Rising Star Award for 2023.
