When the Oscars speeches are done and the Champagne is flowing, there will be some hungry A-list tummies in Hollywood.

The Academy Awards ceremony takes place on Sunday March 10 and is followed by the Governors Ball in the Ray Dolby Ballroom. That's where Elliott Grover comes in.

Elliott is chef at Cut at 45 Park Lane, but in a fortnight he will be in Los Angeles educating the silver-screen elite about the joys of English cuisine.

He told LondonWorld: "This year we're going to do native lobster fish and chips. It's going to be a spicy style so that will give a little nod to California

"We're going to be doing roast beef - wagyu - dripping, Yorkshire pudding and creamed horseradish, which is amazing. It's really, really good.

"And a prawn cocktail roll - it's going to be amazing. All of it is small bites so you can eat within three bites, and you obviously need to be very conscious of them not dropping it onto their dress or suit. It needs to be quite easy to eat.

"You can actually try it at 45 Park Lane Hotel in Bar 45. We've also paired the three dishes with an amazing cocktail. It's a twist on the Americano. That's been made by Enrico [Perri], our bar manager and it's absolutely amazing."

Cut at 45 Park Lane was created by restaurateur and chef Wolfgang Puck, who is also the mastermind behind the Governors Ball catering.

Elliott got involved in 2023 and said it was a bit of "shock to the system" suddenly being involved at the Oscars - one of the most glamorous events on the planet.

"I've cooked for so many wonderful people, so many amazing people, but I think seeing Brendan Fraser was a massive highlight for me, and Lady Gaga was wonderful, Lisa Vanderpump," he said. "The great thing is they're all so wonderful. They're all really lovely. They love the fact that we brought the British food there as well. It was really special."

He said "fingers crossed" that all goes well as the excitement mounts for this year's event.

"I have such an expectation of myself and how I want to deliver the food, and represent 45 Park Lane and Cut London in the right way," he said. "So the pressure won't go until the night, if that makes sense. But there's an amazing team there as well so - no pressure."
