But one restaurant has decided to up the ante on this old-school dish, by making it... Posh.

The special collaboration sees chef Calum Franklin return to London for a special menu at Cut at 45 Park Lane.

Since leaving the Holborn Dining Room, pie master Calum Franklin's main efforts have been at his new restaurant Public House in Paris.

It’s not just pies on the menu either, the pop-up also includes some incredibly decadent puddings that are guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
