Lyle's London is the most 'in-demand' Michelin-starred restaurant in Europe

Across the continent, luxury dining experiences are on the rise, with Google searches for "fine dining" surging by 49% in the past year. With this in mind, Europe, famous for its rich culinary traditions and exquisite delicacies, boasts some of the most sought-after Michelin-starred restaurants in the world.

The Luxury Travel Book has curated 30 top European destinations for luxury dining, focusing on fine dining and Michelin-starred restaurants. They’ve highlighted the best spots for 2025, including trending, visually stunning Michelin-starred venues for an unforgettable experience.

Lyle’s in London tops the list with an impressive 90,500 monthly Google searches. Known for its minimalist menu and focus on British seasonal ingredients, it has become a beacon for food lovers seeking simplicity elevated to an art form.

Located in the historic Tea Building at 56 Shoreditch High Street, Lyle’s was established in 2014 by chef James Lowe, formerly of St. John Bread and Wine. The restaurant has garnered acclaim for its modern British cuisine and commitment to seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. In addition to its Michelin star, Lyle's has been recognized on the global stage, ranking No. 33 in The World's 50 Best Restaurants in 2021.

While Lyle’s may be Europe’s most in-demand restaurant, another London eatery took home the prize for the best-looking. Sketch in Mayfair has been named the most beautiful Michelin-star restaurant in Europe with 95,100 Instagram posts under the hashtag #SketchLondon. Housed in an 18th-century townhouse, Sketch offers a unique blend of art, music, and gastronomy across its five distinct spaces including a lecture room and library.
