You can’t go wrong with a good ol 'fish and chips meal but it seems the once cheap and cheerful takeaway is more of a treat these days in London.

While the average cost of fish and chips across the UK is just over a tenner, prices in London can be even dearer.

Last year, the KFE Fish & Chips annual survey stated the most expensive regular fish and chips available in London was an eye watering £22.50.

We asked the people of London what they think a fair price is at a chippy in the city.
