Jellycat cafe in London: Is there a themed spot fans can visit in the capital?

From a plushie-filled chippy to seeing a giant Jellycat in Harrods, there are a few themed experiences you can’t find outside of the capital.

But sadly London does not currently have a Jellycat cafe. There is one in Shanghai though, that opened in September last year.

The spot offers a few exclusive cafe themed plushies including the brand’s Bartholomew Bear holding a Magnolia Cupcake as well as a Yulan Taro Cake, Yulania Latte, Titia Teapot and Sip and Slurp Teacups.

The closest London fans got to a Jellycat cafe was in 2023, when the brand teamed up with the Instagram famous EL&N cafe to launch an afternoon tea experience.

At their Selfridges cafe, EL&N hosted a plush-themed afternoon tea experience for fans which had an assortment of Jellycat-inspired sweet treats to enjoy with a cuppa.

While it's not a cafe, there is a Jellycat experience in London that fans can visit, the fish and chips shop at the Oxford Street base department store Selfridges.

As part of the experience fans are able to place a Jellycat order from its plushie menu which has an exclusive range of fish and chips themed cuddly offerings from vinegar and salt bottles to a newspaper wrapped portion of chips.

Fans are then able to watch as staff deep fry and prepare their order before packaging it up to go.

Alternatively, those still looking for a Jellycat cafe experience in the capital may enjoy a visit to the Battersea, The Pottery Café which has a variety of Jellycat plushies and offers good old tea and coffee.
