'I tried UK's most expensive croissant at Philippe Conticini and it was worth every penny'

A TikToker tried the UK's most expensive croissant - a 1.5kg pastry which costs £25 - and said it was "worth every penny".
Callum Ryan, 23, visited Philippe Conticini, in South Kensington, London, to pick up his pre-ordered delight.

Hide AdThe croissant contains 700g of butter and contains 3,000 calories - and can serve up to six people.
Content creator Callum ate half of the croissant and gave the rest to his friends as he was "too full".
Callum, from Milton Keynes said: "It takes over an hour to make.
"I couldn't believe it was actually that big and that expensive.
"It was absolutely banging and would highly recommend it."

Hide AdHe said he could not finish the pastry so he saved some for friends.
"I would say it is worth the price if you share it between friends," he said.
