Greene King pubs to give away free pints nationwide: Where Londoners can bag a tipple in the capital

Greene King is set to give away 100,000 free pints nationwide today (March 25) and here’s how Londoners can bag a complimentary tipple in the city.

The pub chain is offering free pints after new research that named Manchester to be the wettest city in the UK. Putting the results to the test a 9-foot-tall pint glass rain detector was placed in the city centre.

Following the first few drops of rain detected in Manchester this morning (March 25), Green King is celebrating across with a round across its 2,700 UK pubs including 120 venues in the capital.

As part of the promotion 100,000 pints will be available to claim without charge. Customers will be able to choose from cask ales, lagers and craft beers as well as a selection of soft drinks.

To claim the free offering, Londoners will need to say “it rains, we pour” while ordering. It will only be available to claim for 24 hours until 11am on Tuesday (March 26).
