Pancake Day 2024 in London: 3 places to get free pancakes this Tuesday

It's Pancake Day this Tuesday (February 13), and what better to celebrate the beloved dish than eating some for free in London. Here's where Londoners can bag a pancake for free this week.

Whether you prefer a classic lemon and sugar offering or are a Nutella and fruit type of person, many city locals will no doubt be enjoying a pancake their liking this week.

If you don't fancy making them yourself, luckily, there are a few spots across the city offering free pancakes.

Here are three places to snag some on-the-house pancakes in London this Tuesday.

Leadenhall Pancake Day Race

Whether you are taking part in the legendary Leadenhall Market Pancake Day race for a chance of winning its coveted golden frying pan or are just there to watch, you'll be treated to some free pancakes as part of the event.

When: February 13 from 12.30pm

The Breakfast Club

Londoners can also get some free pancakes at The Breakfast Club cafes across the city but you'll need to eat 12 in 12 minutes to get them fully comped. 

When: February 13 from 8am to 8pm

Polo Bar 

Foodies can also take part in another pancake challenge in order to get some free ones at the Polo 24 Hour Bar. As part of its tower challenge, those taking part will have to stomach 12 pancakes in under 15 minutes.
