New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Wandsworth’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Cut The Mustard, at 68 Moyser Road, London was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 18.

And Varanasi Chefs, at 142 Battersea High Street, London was also given a score of five on January 14.

It means that of Wandsworth's 695 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 463 (67%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
