Waltham Forest takeaway handed new zero-out-of-five food hygiene rating

A Waltham Forest takeaway has been handed a new zero-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Pepe's Piri Piri, a takeaway at 226 Hoe Street, Walthamstow was given the minimum score after assessment on August 23, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Waltham Forest's 237 takeaways with ratings, 80 (34%) have ratings of five and 17 (7%) have zero ratings.
