A Waltham Forest takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The Leytonstone Indian, a takeaway at Unit 1 Arch 279-281, Lansdowne Road, Leytonstone was given the score after assessment on January 26, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Waltham Forest's 251 takeaways with ratings, 77 (31%) have ratings of five and 18 (7%) have zero ratings.
