A Waltham Forest takeaway has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Amayas, a takeaway at 7 Cherrydown Avenue, Chingford was given the score after assessment on October 16, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Waltham Forest's 262 takeaways with ratings, 81 (31%) have ratings of five and 17 (6%) have zero ratings.
