A Waltham Forest restaurant has been handed a new zero-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Cafe De Melo, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Ground Floor, 216 High Road Leyton, Leyton was given the minimum score after assessment on October 13, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Waltham Forest's 548 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 252 (46%) have ratings of five and 28 (5%) have zero ratings.
