Food hygiene ratings handed to two Waltham Forest restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Waltham Forest’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Waltham Forest’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Indian Brasserie, at 90 Station Road, Chingford was handed a two-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 9.

And YMCA, at Ymca Hostel, 642 Forest Road, Walthamstow was given a score of zero on January 9.

It means that of Waltham Forest's 568 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 253 (45%) have ratings of five and 35 (6%) have zero ratings.
