Food hygiene ratings handed to two Waltham Forest restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Waltham Forest’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Waltham Forest’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Hayow Cafe, at 457 High Road Leyton, Leyton was handed a one-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 6.

And Turkish Gozlemi and Baklava, at 840-842 High Road Leyton, Leyton was also given a score of one on January 6.

It means that of Waltham Forest's 566 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 254 (45%) have ratings of five and 34 (6%) have zero ratings.
