New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Waltham Forest’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Lituanica, at 29-31 High Street, Walthamstow was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 25.

And Chef D'Oeuvre, at 112a High Street, Walthamstow was given a score of one on October 2.

It means that of Waltham Forest's 552 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 252 (46%) have ratings of five and 29 (5%) have zero ratings.
