New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Waltham Forest’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Darlings, at Fellowship Square Assembly Hall, 701 Forest Road, Walthamstow was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 23.

And Leytonstone Spice, at 639 High Road Leytonstone, Leytonstone was given a score of one on May 23.

It means that of Waltham Forest's 535 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 250 (47%) have ratings of five and 20 have zero ratings.
