Food hygiene ratings handed to two Waltham Forest restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Waltham Forest’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Waltham Forest’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Phoenix, at 278 Higham Hill Road, Walthamstow was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 16.

And Aquila, at 10 Church Lane, Leytonstone was given a score of one on February 16.

It means that of Waltham Forest's 522 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 243 (47%) have ratings of five and 18 have zero ratings.
