New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to eight of Waltham Forest’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to five restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 2: Crush Ldn at 408 Hoe Street, Walthamstow; rated on March 1

• Rated 2: The Mint Club at 406a Hoe Street, Walthamstow; rated on March 1

• Rated 1: G Room at 412 Hoe Street, Walthamstow; rated on March 1

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:

• Rated 3: The Chequers at 145 High Street, Walthamstow; rated on March 1
