New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Waltham Forest’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Billet Fish Bar, at 196 Billet Road, Walthamstow was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 15.

And Roosters Piri Piri, at 116 High Street, Walthamstow was also given a score of four on March 15.

It means that of Waltham Forest's 249 takeaways with ratings, 74 (30%) have ratings of five and 16 (6%) have zero ratings.
