New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Waltham Forest’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Waltham Forest’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Dixy Chicken, at 71 Forest Road, Walthamstow was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 2.

And Good View Chinese Takeaway, at 324 Lea Bridge Road, Leyton was given a score of one on March 2.

It means that of Waltham Forest's 239 takeaways with ratings, 81 (34%) have ratings of five and 21 (9%) have zero ratings.
