New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Waltham Forest’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

G Lounge, at 438-440 Hoe Street, Walthamstow was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 8.

And Etles Uyghur Restaurant, at 235 Hoe Street, Walthamstow was given a score of zero on June 8.

It means that of Waltham Forest's 525 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 236 (45%) have ratings of five and 20 have zero ratings.
