Bad news as food hygiene ratings handed to two Waltham Forest restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Waltham Forest’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s bad news for them both.

Wynwood Art District, at 2a Chingford Road, Walthamstow was handed a zero-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 23.

And Etles Uyghur Restaurant, at 235 Hoe Street, Walthamstow was also given a score of zero on June 8.

It means that of Waltham Forest's 532 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 237 (45%) have ratings of five and 23 have zero ratings.
