A Tower Hamlets takeaway has been handed a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

MLD Dining Room, a takeaway at 62 Mellish Street, London was given the score after assessment on April 14, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Tower Hamlets's 408 takeaways with ratings, 249 (61%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
