A Tower Hamlets takeaway has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A'la Pizza, a takeaway at 201 Mile End Road, London was given the maximum score after assessment on March 30, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Tower Hamlets's 404 takeaways with ratings, 250 (62%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
