A Tower Hamlets restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Pearly Queen, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 40 Commercial Street, London was given the maximum score after assessment on November 30, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Tower Hamlets's 1,044 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 725 (69%) have ratings of five and just eight have zero ratings.
