A Tower Hamlets restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The Monsoon, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 78 Brick Lane, London was given the maximum score after assessment on May 20, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Tower Hamlets's 981 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 675 (69%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
