New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to seven of Tower Hamlets’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

The following ratings have been given to six restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Periland at 93-95 Commercial Road, London; rated on November 15

• Rated 5: Roma Crafted Pasta & Dessert at 83 Devons Road, London; rated on November 15

• Rated 5: YiFang Taiwanese Fruit Tea at Old Spitalfields Market, 16 Horner Square, London; rated on November 15

• Rated 5: Lucky Chip at 7 Roach Road, London; rated on November 14

• Rated 5: Mighty Bite Cafe and Sandwich Bar at 123 Bow Road, London; rated on November 14

• Rated 5: Modern Wing Chi Chef, Golden Chowmein at 78 St Leonards Street, London; rated on November 14
