Food hygiene ratings handed to two Tower Hamlets restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tower Hamlets’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tower Hamlets’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Hawksmoor, at 1 Water Street, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 30.

And Pepe's Piri Piri, at 82-84 Brick Lane, London was given a score of three on February 19.

It means that of Tower Hamlets's 1,054 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 743 (70%) have ratings of five and just six have zero ratings.
