New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tower Hamlets’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Mono London, at 535 Roman Road, London was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 4.

And Feast Express, at 103 Whitechapel Road, London was given a score of one on January 4.

It means that of Tower Hamlets's 1,055 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 732 (69%) have ratings of five and just eight have zero ratings.
