New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tower Hamlets’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Dilpasand, at 111-113 Commercial Road, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 28.

And Jerk & Jollof, at 464 Roman Road, London was given a score of three on November 28.

It means that of Tower Hamlets's 1,052 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 730 (69%) have ratings of five and just eight have zero ratings.
