New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tower Hamlets’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Allpress Espresso, at 58 Redchurch Street, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 12.

And Cafe Grill, at 35 Brick Lane, London was given a score of zero on July 12.

It means that of Tower Hamlets's 1,015 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 695 (68%) have ratings of five and just seven have zero ratings.
