New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tower Hamlets’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

London City Bubble Tea, at 116 Jubilee Street, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 4.

And Cafe Lavista, at 15 Brick Lane, London was given a score of one on July 4.

It means that of Tower Hamlets's 1,013 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 691 (68%) have ratings of five and just five have zero ratings.
