New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tower Hamlets’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Corner London City, at 42 Adler Street, London was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on August 18.

And Joe & The Juice Canary Wharf, at 2 Churchill Place, London was given a score of two on January 6.

It means that of Tower Hamlets's 1,008 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 719 (71%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
