Food hygiene ratings handed to two Tower Hamlets restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tower Hamlets’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Wapping Tavern, at 78-80 Wapping Lane, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on August 30.

And Al-Ikhwaan, at Ground Floor, 117a Cannon Street Road, London was given a score of three on August 30.

It means that of Tower Hamlets's 983 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 706 (72%) have ratings of five and just four have zero ratings.
