New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tower Hamlets’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Tara Taree Ltd, at 115 New Road, London was handed a one-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 2.

And Taste of Bangla Ltd, at 28 Vallance Road, London was also given a score of one on November 2.

It means that of Tower Hamlets's 1,038 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 720 (69%) have ratings of five and just seven have zero ratings.
