New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tower Hamlets’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Baraka Eatery, at Retail Unit, 38-40 Whitechapel Road, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 24.

And Naga Grill, at 233 East India Dock Road, London was also given a score of four on May 24.

It means that of Tower Hamlets's 1,021 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 709 (69%) have ratings of five and just four have zero ratings.
