Food hygiene ratings given to two Tower Hamlets restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tower Hamlets’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Indian Masala, at 330 Bethnal Green Road, London was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 13.

And Shawarma, at Ground Floor, 84 Brick Lane, London was given a score of one on July 13.

It means that of Tower Hamlets's 986 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 690 (70%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
