A Sutton restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Akash, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 145 Stafford Road, Wallington was given the maximum score after assessment on August 11, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Sutton's 288 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 203 (70%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
