New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Sutton’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Costa, at 88 Woodcote Road, Wallington was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 2.

And Costa Coffee, at 176 High Street, Sutton was also given a score of five on December 29.

It means that of Sutton's 294 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 203 (69%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
