Food hygiene ratings handed to two Sutton restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Sutton’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Sutton’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Banstead Downs Golf Club, at Burdon Lane, Cheam, Sutton was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on April 26.

And Ovenly, at 145 Gander Green Lane, Sutton was given a score of three on April 25.

It means that of Sutton's 295 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 209 (71%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
