New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Sutton’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Cafeina, at 16 Station Road, Belmont was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 20.

And Rio Ceylon, Sri Lankan & South Indian Restaurant, at 304 High Street, Sutton was given a score of zero on June 20.

It means that of Sutton's 290 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 206 (71%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
