A Southwark takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A Southwark takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Shanels sandwich bar, a takeaway at 23, Dockhead, London was given the score after assessment on August 17, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Southwark's 475 takeaways with ratings, 266 (56%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
