New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Southwark’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Southwark’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Rice and peas caribbean limited, at 44, Grove Vale, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 13.

And Spices, at 91, Evelina Road, London was given a score of two on September 13.

It means that of Southwark's 473 takeaways with ratings, 271 (57%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
