New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Southwark’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Southwark’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Berts fish bar, at 354, East Street, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on August 22.

And Chicken world, at 163, Rye Lane, London was also given a score of four on August 22.

It means that of Southwark's 476 takeaways with ratings, 266 (56%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
